Claudio Ranieri has said he still does not know the extent of some of his players' injuries, with Ben Foster added to the list of sidelined players, alongside Ismaila Sarr, Nicolas Nkoulou and Francisco Sierralta.

Following yesterday's 4-2 defeat to Leicester City, the head coach said he was calm about about the situation, but was still unsure when he could expect to have any of the injured assets back.

Adding to his woes were knocks to Emmanuel Dennis and Adam Masina during the defeat that he also said would need assessing before a judgement could be made on their severity.

"I don’t know how long, but Bachmann made some very good saves and I’m calm with Bachmann in goal," said Ranieri when asked about Foster's injury. "Of course I hope Ben can go back early in the training sessions.

"At the moment I don’t know," he continued when asked about Dennis. "At the moment no him, no Masina, we have to see tomorrow at the training session.

"I don’t know at the moment [Sarr and Nkoulou], we are waiting and I hope everything could be very very early."

Masina's knock was picked up in a challenge with Timothy Castagne in the build up to Leicester's fourth goal at the King Power stadium.

However, the head coach did not begrudge the hosts playing on while he had a man down.

"The fourth goal, Masina had the tackle and he was down and they continued to play," he said. "This is normal, until referee whistles you have to continue to play. Of course, in that part of the box there wasn’t any of my players."
