Watford put in an aggressive performance but were unable to stop Chelsea leaving Vicarage Road with three points.

Here's how we rated their individual performances.

Daniel Bachmann - 6

Not a bad day at the office for Bachmann, not much he could have done about either goal,  but his lack of urgency frustrated Claudio Ranieri on a few occasions.

Kiko Femenia - 5.5

Contributed well in attack at times, but had a couple of nervy moments defensively. Both goals came down his side.

William Troost-Ekong - 5

Not his worst performance, but his positioning has to be called into question for the first goal and he was lucky not to be punished for a second mistake when Kai Havertz scored from an offside position.

Craig Cathcart - 6

Put in a more solid performance than his centre back partner.

Adam Masina - N/A

Was substituted after only nine minutes due to an injury.

Imran Louza - 7

A great performance, particularly in the first half, as he broke up play and got Watford back on the front foot.

Moussa Sissoko - 8

A really good showing again from the skipper, who did brilliantly to set up Watford's goal.

Tom Cleverley - 7.5

An impressive effort. Performs the pressing game so well.

Emmanuel Dennis - 8

Took his goal very well and was a nuisance throughout.

Joao Pedro - 6.5

Caused problems but waned a bit towards the end of the match.

Joshua King - 7

Held the ball up very well again. Couldn't get any real chances to score.

Substitutes

Danny Rose - 6

Impressed after coming on at short notice. Looked calm.

Juraj Kucka - 6

Provided energy but couldn't turn things around in Watford's favour.

Jeremy Ngakia - N/A

Arrived too late for a rating.
