Watford go into their game against Manchester City this evening looking to stop a winless run stretching back to 1989.

The last three matches against City have seen today's visitors rack up 18 goals, while the Hornets have not found the net in any of those encounters.

Here's how I think Claudio Ranieri will attempt to reverse that trend tonight.

GK: Daniel Bachmann

Will start again tonight in lieu of Ben Foster.

RB: Kiko Femenia

Is playing okay at the moment, but will need to keep an eye on his positioning, as both of Chelsea's goals came down his side in midweek.

CB: William Troost-Ekong

Will keep his place today after a better performance against Chelsea, but still needs to get better.

CB: Craig Cathcart

With few options available in the centre of defence, changes in these two positions are unlikely.

LB: Danny Rose

Adam Masina looks set for a long spell on the sidelines, Rose will start with James Morris the only other solution.

CM: Imran Louza

Is providing an important link at the base of the midfield.

CM: Tom Cleverley

With Ranieri wanting to approach each game with aggression, the midfielder's energy will be needed for today's match.

CM: Moussa Sissoko

The midfielder continues to impress this season. Has scored in a win over Manchester City before.

RW: Emmanuel Dennis

Continues to impress in attack and is looking like one of the signings of the summer at the moment.

LW: Joao Pedro

Developing well under Ranieri, who has spoken many times about how impressed he is with the Brazilian.

ST: Joshua King

Another who has benefited a lot from Ranieri's involvement.
