Former Oasis front man Liam Gallagher described Watford as a "top team" yesterday as they were beaten 3-1 by Manchester City.
Gallagher is a City supporter, but was clearly impressed by what he had seen from the Hornets as they put in a valiant effort during the match.
After Tweeting praise for City's Bernardo Silva, who scored twice during the game, Gallagher received a reply from someone urging him to calm down as it was "only Watford" who they were beating.
However, the musician stuck up for the Hornets with a reply of his own.
