Former Watford head coach Javi Gracia has been named coach of Qatari club Al Sadd.
The Spaniard was sacked at Vicarage Road four games into the 2019/20 season, with the Hornets going onto get relegated at the end of the campaign.
He then took over at Spanish side Valencia, but lasted just under a year in that position, with the La Liga outfit in 14th place at the time.
Al Sadd announced his appointment this evening and said he will be officially unveiled tomorrow at 11am at the Ali Bin Hamad Al Attiyah Arena.
During his time at Watford, Gracia won 25 of the 66 games he was in charge for and led the Hornets to the FA Cup final for only the second time in their history at the end of the 2018/19 season.
He is expected to sign a contract with Al Sadd until 2023, with the option of another year.
