Watford nicked a point late on away at St James' Park as they started an important week in which they face their relegation rivals.
Here's how we rated their individual efforts.
Ben Foster - 6.5
Didn't have a huge amount to do during the game. Not much he could've done about the goal.
Jeremy Ngakia - 5
Made a big mistake for the goal after dealing with Allan Saint-Maximin well in the first half.
Craig Cathcart - 5.5
Also should have dealt better with Saint-Maximin for the goal. Was also lucky not to have been punished by Chris Wood in the first half.
Samir - 6
A solid enough showing on his debut.
Hassane Kamara - 6
Looked encouraging in both defence and attack, but had a few problems with Kieran Trippier and Ryan Fraser.
Edo Kayembe - 5.5
One or two suggestions he could be a good signing, but did struggle to get to grips with the game.
Juraj Kucka - 3.5
Offered absolutely no control in midfield at all. A poor showing again.
Moussa Sissoko - 5
Another who had an off day in the centre. Missed a great chance as well.
Emmanuel Dennis - 5.5
Made some lively runs but it wasn't his day.
Joshua King - 6.5
Battled well throughout.
Joao Pedro - 7.5
Took his goal well and caused a few problems throughout.
SUBS
Tom Cleverley - 6
Provided a foothold in the match.
Kiko Femenia - 6.5
Great cross to set up the goal for Pedro.
Cucho Hernandez - N/A
Joined too late to get a rating.
