Watford have issued a positive injury update ahead of the visit of Norwich City on Friday night.

The Hornets go into their game against the Canaries with no fresh concerns from their 1-1 draw at Newcastle last weekend, with only long-term absentees Ismaila Sarr, Peter Etebo, Nicolas Nkoulou and Kwadwo Baah sidelined.

Sarr is continuing to work with knee specialist Dr Ramon Cugat in Spain, while remaining in communication with both Watford and Senegal over his injury.

This week Senegal boss Aliou Cisse reiterated his hope that the winger would be available before the end of the African Cup of Nations.

Elsewhere, both Etebo and Baah continue their rehabilitation, but have moved from the gym to outside.

Nkoulou however is still inside working on his recovery from a hamstring problem.

As well as those who are absent through injury, William Troost-Ekong, Imran Louza and Adam Masina are all still away on African Cup of Nations duty, with both Nigeria and Morocco progressing beyond the group stages into the round of 16.
