Watford's away game at Burnley has been rescheduled for Saturday, February 5 at 6pm.
The game has twice been postponed due to Covid outbreaks and injuries within both squads and this will be the third attempt at playing the fixture.
However, the new date will not be welcomed by head coach Claudio Ranieri who said in his press conference yesterday that he specifically did not want to play on Feburary 5 and would prefer the match to be played earlier if possible, with his side set to face West Ham United just three days later on Feburary 8.
"When you have to play every two or three days it's not so good," he said.
"Now I hope when we play against Burnley we will have some days more to recover for another match.
"I don’t know if we could play the 5th (of February) because after we will play on the 8th, it could be a little crazy. We have a week free and we can maybe play a little earlier.
"I hope in two weeks we also play this match against Burnley, but not the 5th of February, a little earlier."
The match will be shown live on BT Sport.
