Watford put in a gutsy performance against Arsenal but were unable to buck their trend of home defeats, as the Gunners left Vicarage Road with all three points.

Here's how we rated their individual performances:

Ben Foster - 4

Flat-footed for two of the goals, poor distribution throughout. Not a good day at the back for him.

Kiko Femenia - 6.5

Provided a great cross for Cucho Hernandez's goal, but defensively left some big gaps for Kieran Tierney to attack.

Craig Cathcart - 6.5

The steadiest of the centre back pairing. Made some decent blocks and tackles when required.

Samir - 5.5

Allowed Arsenal too much time and space, struggled a bit.

Hassane Kamara - 6.5

Looked great going forward and his work rate was terrific. Made a couple of very good tackles too.

Imran Louza - 6

Fans were frustrated when he was taken off. Offered a semblance of control through the centre.

Moussa Sissoko - 7

Took his goal very well and benefited from the end-to-end spells of the match.

Tom Cleverley - 5

At fault for Arsenal's second and looked off the pace.

Joao Pedro - 6

A good effort from the Brazilian who worked hard, but perhaps could have pushed himself further up the pitch more than he did.

Cucho Hernandez - 7.5

A stunning goal and a good assist too. Will have given Roy Hodgson something to think about, come Thursday night's game at Wolves.

Emmanuel Dennis - 5

Squandered a couple of huge chances and his decision making was once again questionable.

SUBS:

Edo Kayembe - 5.5

Didn't do anything wrong per se, but also didn't offer anything that wasn't already on the pitch.

Samuel Kalu - N/A

Players must have played 15 minutes or more to get a rating.
