Watford gave an alright account of themselves as they bowed out of the Premier League with a narrow 2-1 defeat away at Chelsea.

Here's how we rated their individual performances.

Daniel Bachmann - 7.5

Made some really good saves during the match, but ought to have done a bit better with Ross Barkley's winning goal.

Kiko Femenia - 6

Lost Barkley for the decisive strike, but overall put in a good shift. Still needs to work on his set pieces.

Christian Kabasele - 6.5

One of the better players on the day and did a good job of limiting the chances for Kai Havertz and Mason Mount.

Samir - 5

Lost Havertz for the opening goal and didn't look too convincing in defence.

Hassane Kamara - 6.5

Unfortunate to see him go off injured. Hopefully he can stick around for next season.

Edo Kayembe - 5.5

Looked a little out of his depth at times, but got involved in the attack when he could and showed that in the Championship, he could be useful.

Tom Cleverley - 6.5

A lovely exchange with Joao Pedro to almost set up a goal in the second half was the highlight of a decent return.

Moussa Sissoko - 5

A lot of huffing and puffing with not much to show for it and was guilty of losing possession too often. Also slipped in the run up to Barkley's goal. Will likely be moving on before long.

Joshua King - 5

Difficult to remember him doing much specifically. A pretty anonymous return.

Ken Sema - 6

Caused one or two problems, but generally showed why next season will be much closer to his level.

Joao Pedro - 7

Looked really determined to make an impact and almost did but for a great save by Edouard Mendy.

Substitutes

Cucho Hernandez - 5

Didn't really have much of an impact, but is still recovering from an injury to be fair to him.

Adam Masina - 6

A great cross to set up Dan Gosling's goal, but was found wanting in defence immediately after.

Dan Gosling - 7

Took his goal with great aplomb. Another with something to offer next season.
