Reports in Greece suggest Olympiacos are interested in signing Philip Zinckernagel.
The 27-year-old Dane spent last season on loan at Nottingham Forest, helping them secure promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs.
That has led to understandable links being made that the midfielder would make the switch permanent.
However, the stories suggesting Zinckernagel has attracted the attentions of the 47-times Greek champions has come out of left field.

Watford have said they are not actively looking to sell Zinckernagel but clearly if the right offer came in - understood to be £3million or more - then they may decide to cash in.
Fans may be concerned that this potential sale and that of Cucho Hernandes mean there is more action around the exit than the entry door. However, in my discussions with the club it was always clear that other clubs may have to knock over the first domino in order to start a chain of events.
