Darren Bond is set to take charge of Watford’s trip to fellow unbeaten Championship side Preston North End tomorrow.
The Lancashire official has refereed three games in the second tier so far this season, showing a total of 13 yellow cards.
Bond last took charge of a Hornets game in March 2021 when he was appointed to the 3-0 home victory over Birmingham City.
Richard Wild and Jonathan Hunt are the assistant referees for the game at Deepdale, with Simon Mather the fourth official.
Ryan Lowe’s side secured the first league victory of the campaign last weekend with a 1-0 win at Luton Town, but their other three fixtures have all ended goalless.
