Upgrades have started on Watford’s leisure centre following a £200,000 investment.

Work at the Watford Leisure Centre Woodside in Horseshoe Lane, managed by Everyone Active in partnership with Watford Borough Council, began at the beginning of September and is expected finish at the end of October.

The investment, made by Everyone Active, will include upgrading the existing AstroTurf to new 3G pitches, and the addition of new goals allowing for 5-aside, 7-aside and 11-aside football matches.
