Throughout this week we have been looking back 24 years to Watford’s never-to-be-forgotten Play-Off Final victory over Bolton Wanderers at Wembley Stadium as Graham Taylor led his players to back-to-back promotions.
Our Watford correspondent Andrew French has shared his experiennces of that great day when he was the club’s Communications Manager, while we also published some images from our archive of the Hornets fans inside the stadium during that wonderful occasion.
We’ve delved back into our picture archive again and today share some of the fantastic scenes after the final when Watford celebrated with an open top bus parade through the town and thousands of people came out to party.
We hope you enjoy seeing these images again and looking back on a very special few days in Hornets history.
