Passing families have loved seeing a mural to an iconic Watford FC victory being painted on an underpass.
Street artists MurWalls, which residents might recognise from Hornets-themed murals on the Exchange Road underpass walls heading to Vicarage Road, is currently creating another piece of football art.
Hertfordshire County Council has tasked the company with making the walking route between The Crescent and Watford High Street more pleasant and enjoyable to use.

MurWalls owner Marc Silver said: “We’re working right by the girls school and the nursery so lots of parents are walking past.
“Everyone is stopping and having a chat, telling us how everyone is really enjoying seeing it.”
“With all the projects that we do, it’s really nice to see the reactions,” the 47-year-old added. “Putting smiles on faces is something we really enjoy doing.”
The mural, inspired by the playoff win that saw Watford FC’s first promotion to the Premier League 25 years ago, was designed over two months but should be done by the end of this week after 10 artists began the job of physically putting it up on Monday.
It will then be formally unveiled for the team’s next home game, against Sunderland, on September 28.
