Saracens forward Tom Ryder has agreed to join Glasgow Warriors on a two-month loan.
The 25-year-old lock will play in the Magners League at the start of this season in a bid to secure regular first-team action for Sarries.
Ryder said: "This is a great opportunity to not only play regular rugby and get some good quality Magners League matches under my belt, but also force my way back into the Saracens team on my return."
Saracens director of rugby Brendan Venter said: "When Glasgow contacted us about the possibility of Tom joining them on a short-term deal because of injury in their squad, we were happy to help. This is a good opportunity for Tom to get some regular game time and he will return to Saracens having played a number of competitive matches. It's a move that benefits all involved."
