The pinnacle of the Hertfordshire Warriors programme steps out on court in their first England Basketball men’s National League game of the season on Saturday, October 13.

The men are pleased to be playing at their home venue, Queens’ School, for their opening game of the campaign.

Fierce rivals Brentwood Fire, from neighbouring Essex, are the opponents for the game, which tips at 6.30pm.

Hertfordshire Warriors Basketball Club has a highly successful and thriving junior male and female programme, with a number of international players and nationally ranked teams. The men’s team roster reflects this, as it fields some of the outstanding young talent the club has developed over the years.

Head coach Tony Marmo said: "I’m very much looking forward to seeing a large crowd cheer us on as we have managed to keep free entry for juniors and only £2 for adults. The team have looked sharp in pre-season training and hopefully this will be brought into the game."
