“Doyley goal inspires Hornets comeback” and “Club’s darkest hour” were amongst the headlines printed by the Watford Observer last season. But what do you think the headlines will be in the coming months.
The newly-formed From the Rookery End podcast asked Hornets supporters for their ‘One-Word Season Reviews’ in the debut podcast and this time around they are asking ‘What newspaper headlines would you like to see Watford create this season?’.
Headlines such as “Super Caley go ballistic, Celtic are atrocious” have become legendary, so what do you hope to see printed in the Watford Observer this season?
“Doyley hat-trick in record win over Leeds”, “Cleverley signs for Watford”, what would be your dream headline?
The From the Rookery End boys are also keen to know what headlines you think will arise that you do not want to read.
Leave your comment below and the best will be read out on the next From the Rookery End podcast, which will be available from iTunes before the Championship season kicks off in August.
