A Mediterranean-style restaurant has closed despite being open for just seven months.
Cloud7 in The Quarters, St Albans Road, had only welcomed customers for the first time on August 21, 2023, before it shut down last month.
When it stopped operating, it was listed on Google as “permanently closed” and it was not clear what had happened.

However, the business also has another location, in Edgware, which has remained open and staff there were able to assuage fears that Cloud 7 could be leaving the town for good.
While it will not be reopening the 90-seat St Albans Road location, the brand is looking to find a new Watford unit to relocate to.
Cloud 7 has not found a suitable space yet, but is apparently looking at spots near the town centre and Watford Junction.
The closed unit, underneath hotel The Quarters Watford, had not proved suitable for the business, with issues including limited parking.
