Hertfordshire Constabulary has appealed for the public’s help in relation to these five incidents in January.

Wanted man Luke Green

Luke Green, 44, whose last known address is in Watford, is wanted for failing to appear at court in connection with a burglary.

Police have asked anyone who sees him, or has any information about his whereabouts, to report the information.

Images have been released of two potential witnesses after a 71-year-old was struck by a black Toyota Yaris on the A405 North Orbital Road at the junction of Bucknalls Lane.

Police say they are “hopeful” the two people pictured could help with their enquiries, but stressed “that they are not suspects in any way but were simply pedestrians walking by.”

The people in the picture, or anyone who recognises them, are asked to email Dale.Morris@herts.police.uk .

The pedestrian, Robert ‘Bob’ Clewley, a great-grandfather from Hemel Hempstead, died at the scene following the crash at around 5.50pm on December 2.

Witness to leisure centre stabbing - ISR 665 of January 6.

Police are “keen” to speak to a man who told staff at Everyone Active Leisure Centre, in Gosforth Lane, that he had witnessed an alleged stabbing at around 6.45pm on January 6.

The incident also saw the 22-year-old, who was stabbed in the buttock, sprayed with an unknown liquid.

Wanted man Waeil Hamed

Waeil Hamed, who has links to Watford and Luton, is wanted on recall to prison and Hertfordshire Constabulary has asked for the public's help to locate him.

Hamed’s last known address is in Bedford, Bedfordshire.

The 53-year-old's original offence was robbery.

Anyone who has seen him in the last few minutes is asked to call 999.

Anyone who had seen him earlier or who has any information about his whereabouts is asked to report it online at herts.police.uk/report or call 101.

Atria robbery witnesses41/103163/22

Police appealed for witnesses on January 5 after a robbery at around 3.50pm on December 21.

A teenage boy was about to use the escalators on the upper floor of atria Watford, between Cineworld and Next Home, when he was approached by two males and led away.

They then took his bag, which contained an iPhone and some Apple AirPods, before shoppers tried to stop them.

The males then fled and the victim was unhurt.
