The sites of varying sizes have been listed for a range of prices, from £250,000 for land in Kings Langley up to £7 million for former industrial land near Bushey.

'Eyesore' Radlett Road plot 

An “eyesore” gap between existing homes in Radlett Road, Watford, is up for sale after a development was approved in February.

The land was put on the market with a £700,000 guide price after permission was secured to known down two small garage and replace them with two three-storey houses. 

The developer’s application had called the existing site opposite Knutsford Playing Fields “unkept and unsightly”, with the garage being labelled “a blot on the landscape,  while a neighbour who wrote in support of the scheme called the plot an “eyesore”.

'Landmark' Bushey 151 home site

A “landmark” site off Chalk Hill that has planning permission for 151 homes has been put on the market for £7 million.

The 1.67-acre industrial land five minutes' walk from Bushey station, was the subject of housing proposals for over 15 years before Watford Borough Council agreed plans in 2018.

The latest listing calls the freehold site, which currently has two vacant industrial units and one residential unit, a “rare opportunity” in the “sought-after commuter town”.

Kings Langley 'glamping plot

Kings Langley could be Hertfordshire’s next glamping hotspot as a 2.15-acre plot in Rucklers Lane billed to have “versatile potential” has been listed for £250,000.

The site is advertised as having a “myriad of possibilities”, subject to planning permission, including as a “unique camping/glamping retreat amidst the serene surroundings”.

Buyers are urged not to miss this “extraordinary opportunity to acquire a versatile piece of land with endless potential applications”.

Hunton Park land

A 19-acre plot of “potential development land” in Hunton Park near Abbots Langley has been put up for sale for £3 million.

The plot between Gypsy Lane and the Hunton Park Hotel is currently in agricultural use as permanent pasture, but it has been advertised as an “attractive parcel of potential development land”. 

The 19.11-acre patch of land, around the size of 10 football pitches, is within the green belt and there is no existing planning permission for a development there.

Northwood mansion

A 0.76-acre plot between Northwood and South Oxhey with planning permission to turn a mansion into flats has been put up for sale for £4million.

The proposal to demolish Wildacre, a seven-bedroom home in a was approved by Three Rivers District Council in August last year.

Under the designs, it would then be replaced with a “traditional” arts and crafts-style building, divided into eight two-bedroom flats, with underground parking.
