Could Kings Langley be Hertfordshire’s next glamping hotspot?
A plot stretching 2.15 acres in Rucklers Lane billed to have “versatile potential” has gone on sale for £250,000.
The site is advertised as having a “myriad of possibilities”, subject to planning permission, including as a “unique camping/glamping retreat amidst the serene surroundings”.
The word glamping comes from a mixture of 'glamourous' and 'camping' and means a more comfortable and luxurious outdoor accommodation.
Prospective buyers could also use it for agricultural purposes such as grazing livestock or growing crops, or for a storage facility.

The land which slopes uphill from Rucklers Lane is currently disused with the remains of previous sheds and outbuildings.
It is situated just outside Kings Langley and buyers are urged not to miss this “extraordinary opportunity to acquire a versatile piece of land with endless potential applications”.
The area around Watford currently has three other glamping spots at Aldenham County Park, Home Farm Glamping in Elstree and North Hill Farm in Chorleywood.
