Fintan covers a wide range of news across the Watford and Three Rivers areas as well as parts of Hertsmere and Dacorum. He holds a masters degree in multimedia journalism from Liverpool John Moores University, having previously studied ancient and medieval history at the University of Birmingham. He joined the Watford Observer as a reporter in 2022. Away from the newsroom he supports West Ham and St Albans City F.C, while being a keen fiction reader.
