A large new film set has been set-up in the backlot of Warner Bros Studios in Leavesden.

The latest production by the film studio can easily be seen by passers-by and motorists, with it having extended into the fields overlooking Watford Road and the A41.

Whilst we could only see the newly erected film set from a distance, several cranes were noticeable as well as a stage and castle turrets.

Several workers were also seen walking around as well as some tents.

Warner Bros, which is home of the Harry Potter films, recently told residents that 10 days of filming up to July 6 will be going ahead, including the use of special effects and high-level film lighting.

However, it is unclear at this stage what is being filmed.
