A day of dancing and entertainment gave a grandmother the chance to enjoy some good times with her family outdoors.
Big Dance at Woodside playing fields on Saturday was part of Watford Borough Council’s Summer of Fun.
Organised by Watford Borough Council and Jiveswing.Com, the event is run by dancers, for dancers, and featured performances in many different styles.
Grandmother Lorraine Moody attended Big Dance with her family.
Lorraine was at the event with her granddaughter Edith, who also enjoyed getting to know some of the dancers.
She said the day was “full of beautiful dancing - people got up and jived.
“Great singing, good humour, safe distancing, yummy food, and a much needed cup of tea.
“Such a pleasure to be in a happy place with wonderful music and atmosphere.”
Dance classes were there for visitors to get involved with, including street dance, lindy hop and 1920s Charleston.
It also featured performances from the UK’s leading dance and cabaret performers, including Britain's Got Talent finalists Flawless.
