An actor is calling on people to visit Cassiobury Park next month for an annual autumn walk in support of an Alzheimer’s charity.
Line of Duty star Vicky McClure is supporting the Alzheimer’s Society’s Memory Walk on September 11.
McClure, who plays Detective Inspector Kate Fleming in the hit BBC One crime drama, is the Alzheimer’s Society ambassador.
She said: "Last year, while we couldn't walk together in person, I was determined that the circumstances wouldn't prevent me and my family from walking in memory of my nana.
"I was in awe of the sheer number of people who also stepped onto their local streets to raise vital funds for the charity."
Supporters also have the option to organise their own Memory Walk at a location of their choice making it easy for everyone to get involved.
McClure added: "This year, I am delighted to say that people can again unite at 20 locations across the UK to create new memories together and support the 850,000 people in the UK who are currently living with dementia."
