Firework displays will be coming to Cassiobury Park once more to celebrate Guy Fawkes night after the last two years' events were cancelled.

People are invited to Cassiobury Park on Saturday, November 6 for one of Hertfordshire's largest free fireworks displays organised by Watford Borough Council. The fireworks will start at 7.30pm.

Watford radio station Vibe 107.6FM will be on stage from 6pm keeping everyone entertained with music and competitions and also introducing live acts.

There will be a variety of food and drink stalls, children’s funfair rides, bungee trampolines and a bouncy slide keeping the crowds entertained before the display kicks off.

Watford Observer:

As the event is free, the council encourages visitors to give generously to the volunteers who will be collecting on behalf of local charities.

There will be no parking in the Gade Avenue car park from 3pm, apart from a limited number of blue badge spaces, which are available on a first come first served basis.

There are parking restrictions on surrounding roads to the park from 7am to 11pm, so people are advised to park in one of the public car parks in the town centre.

It will take place from 7.30pm at The Manor House Grounds in Gallows Hill Lane.

The charitable event will also include amusements, hot food, and a bar.
