Have you been inside the Palace Theatre and felt unnerved by a ghostly presence?
The Watford Observer has again teamed up with its friends at Watford Museum to look back on ghostly goings-on and scary stories based on events in the town’s past for Halloween.
Watford’s theatre is said to be haunted by the ghost of a dresser.
‘Aggy’ fell to her death from the Dress Circle and many claim to have seen or felt her ghostly presence when alone in the theatre.

The footsteps of one performer still grace the boards – workmen have heard footsteps on the stage and seen the stage curtains part to allow an invisible presence to pass.
