National Trust Easter activities in Watford for 2022

Here’s a selection of the National Trust’s Easter activities in Watford.

Easter egg hunts

This Easter you can take your family to National Trust sites to search for Easter eggs.

Whilst there are none in Watford itself there are a few that you can still travel to relatively quickly from there.

Osterley Park is the nearest one to Watford itself, and has an Easter egg hunt trail running from April 14-18 from 10am to 5pm, with last entry at 4pm.

The price of the trail is £3 per child and includes a trail map, pencil and a chocolate egg at the end.

Booking is not needed and more information can be found on the Osterley Park website.

Another option is at Ham House and Garden in Ham Common, which is running an Easter egg trail until April 18.

Alternatively, if you wanted to go north of Watford, then the Ashridge Estate in Hertfordshire is also running a trail up until April 18 from 10am to 4pm each day.

Easter craft ideas

If you opt for a day indoors, there’s still fun to be had with the National Trust’s craft tutorials.

Videos on the website show you how to make Easter crafts including Easter baskets and a Bean-bag Easter chick.
