Will Njobvu says he has faced death threats and homophobic abuse from people who could tell he was gay.

The TV and radio presenter from Rickmansworth took the opportunity to speak out on Tik Tok about his experiences with his sexuality.

He addressed his followers saying that 2021 was the year he “fully came out” to his friends and family.

But from gaining a public platform, Mr Njobvu received hate from some individuals.

According to the presenter, he also had to cut off friends who did not support him.

He continued: “I think there’s power in knowing who you are and owning it.

“The one reason why I’m making this video about me finally being comfortable with my sexuality is because life is too short.

“So it doesn’t matter who you are, or what gender you are just live your truth and be authentic to you. Be authentic and the right people will flock to you.”

Speaking on the backlash he received from some, he said: “I don’t care what people think about me.”
