Alfie’s father, Ian Lewton, told Watford Observer the lorry always draws attention.

He said: “Alfie wanted to go to the prom in the family truck because it is a unique way of getting there.

“There are not many people who get to travel in vehicles like that.

“Everybody’s got Lamborghinis, Porsches, and supercars, but not many people have got a custom truck.

“Alfie loved every minute of it.

“All his friends and teachers were waiting for him and when he arrived everyone started cheering and clapping.”

Two of the videos have received a combined total of 28,300 views of Alfie’s entrance that took place on June 23 for the prom held at Watford Football Club.

The family who lives in Rickmansworth has owned the truck for 10 years as part of their business in road transportation. Due to COVID, the business closed.

Decorations were hand painted by family-friend Paul Yeoman of Alfie, his brother Aiden, 14 and sister Ariane, 21.

Bad Boys actors make an appearance because “it is a great film,” said Mr Lewton.

Mr Lewton described his son as hard-working who aspires to be a Watford FC player.

He added: “His grades are always in top set and his sporting achievements are fantastic. So, if Elton is reading, please get in touch with Alfie.”
