Watford’s first tequila bar will be coming to town earlier than expected in a “soft launch” offering half price food and drinks.
Latin bar Barrio, which is taking over the former Bosleys pub in The Parade, previously said it would be opening to the public on October 28.
However, owner Nightcap has now announced it will be running a soft launch period just before the big day, giving punters a chance to try the cocktails and its Mexican street food menu.
Between October 20 and October 26, guests will be able to claim 50 per cent off the entire food and drinks menu.

Anyone wishing to claim the discount will need to pre-book online, otherwise walk-ins are still accepted for the full-price menu.
The building itself will be able to 200 people, while the outside terrace that is being transformed into a tropical yard can have an additional 80 guests.
