A family-owned pizza restaurant has reopened following a “major refurbishment”.

Oscars Pizza Company in Kings Langley High Street welcomed customers back on February 10 having closed at the end of January.

Owner Oscar Russo said: "Everyone has loved it so far and said how bright and fresh it is.

The restaurant, which has been on the high street for 27 years, had its last renovation in 2015.

This refurbishment started later than expected due to Covid and Mr Russo's father’s ill health.

Mr Russo added: “My favourite part of the refurb is how fresh it feels.

“And my dad’s partner surprised me with a picture of the two of us that we have hung up on the wall.

“For me, that’s probably the nicest change.”

Not only has the restaurant had a revamp but the menu has too.

Mr Russo said: “We’ve got lots of new dishes and freshened some of the old ones up.

“Lots of people have been going for the new dishes, which is a good sign.”
