A new family-friendly festival boasting magic, circus performers and a freestyle footballer is coming to Hertfordshire.

Kids Fest Herts will be held at Willows Activity Farm in London Coloney on Sunday, August 19.

Among the top attractions will be Guinness World Record star and international freestyle footballer, Jamie Knight, who will be on stage showing off his skills and helping visitors learn some tricks. 

There will also be live music, a magician, circus performers and a science team showing audiences experiments throughout the afternoon.

Kids Fest Herts special events manager, Sarah Taylor, said: "Our team has put in immense effort to create an unforgettable experience that is jam-packed with interactive activities, live performances, and educational workshops that all children will love.”

Children will be able to meet characters such as Peter Rabbit, a princess unicorn and superheroes as well as play crazy golf. 

The festival, aimed at families with children aged up to 10, begins at 2:45pm and will also offer food such as a barbecue and waffles.

Families will be able to camp the night before or after the event and Kids Fest will provide tents where needed.
