A popular café has upgraded its outdoor seating area for the summer months.

The works at the Sandwich Box Café were funded with a business improvement grant from the Watford Town Centre BID organisation.

The small independent business has been in The Parade, High Street, for more than 24 years.

Outside now has new tables and chairs as well as floral display and the café has kept the canopy for when it gets hot.

Watford Town Centre BID said: “Their new beautiful floral displays add vibrant colours to their outdoor seated area, adding to that warm feeling you get when basking in the British sunshine and enjoying your breakfast or lunch.”

The café’s menu includes Britain’s favourite dishes such as omelettes, pies, jacket potatoes, sandwiches, burgers and full English Breakfasts.

Watford Town Centre BID is a local organisation that represents Watford Town Centre’s shops, restaurants, salons, leisure venues and more, seeking to provide support that will boost the local economy.
