It is officially the bank holiday weekend, which means one extra lie in and time to spend with loved ones.

But it is also a time when lots of great events are happening in and around Watford.

Art in the Park

Leavesden Country Park is hosting Art in the Park.

This community-led event, run by three local artists, will include artist demonstrations, an art trail activity and workshops.

It is in the park from 11am to 4pm on Monday.

Clean Herts Community Bank Holiday Party

There will be a free event at Croxley Park on Monday from 1pm to 8pm.

It will include face painting, ice cream, music and inflatables as well as a cinema screen.

It is being run by Clean Herts Community which is a charity backed by Anthony Joshua.

Family Magic and Comedy Show

Metropolitan Bushey is hosting a magic show for families on bank holiday Monday.

Watford Observer:

It will feature the magician Kurtis from Fizz Kids and he will be performing comedy, tricks and illusions.

Doors open from 2pm with the show starting at 2:30pm and finishing at 3:30pm.

Colourscape

Watford Borough Council has brought Colourscape to Cassiobury Park for 10 days over the summer.

It is an immersive experience for all ages and includes music, colourful lights and dancers.

Cassiobury Farm and Fishery

The final open day of the summer is happening on Sunday at Cassiobury Farm and Fishery.

It is open from 10am to 5pm and will have activities such as crazy golf, face painting and pedalos for kids to enjoy.
