Watford and nearby areas are full of different restaurants with a variety of cuisines at residents' fingertips.

Tripadvisor recently released a list of the 'Best of the Best' restaurants, with several categories including 'best quick bites', but sadly none of our favourites were included.

To right that wrong, we have listed six great places around our patch for quick bites. Check them out below.

The Swan, Abbots Langley

This pub has been rated a four out of five by Tripadvisor users with 314 “excellent” reviews on the site.

One person said: “Great pub and great atmosphere. Manager and staff always go above and beyond, I highly recommend this outlet.”

Another added: "Very good service pub was packed, meals all brought out together very good as 14 of us, meals very good quality, very good price."

Bean Here, Kings Langley

This café has been given a five out of five rating by Tripadvisor and is open six days a week from 9:30am to 4:30pm.

It currently has 108 "excellent" reviews.

One customer said: "Great coffee with friendly staff. There were also super cakes and a lovely atmosphere. Would absolutely recommend."

Fred and Ginger Coffee, Kings Langley

This has a 4.5 out of five ranking on the website and is number one for coffee and tea in Kings Langley.

One reviewer said: "The best coffee in Kings Langley. Portion sizes are how they're meant to be (no fish bowl mugs) and the staff are friendly. It does get very busy though so you may not be able to get a seat."

It has been ranked as 4.5 out of five and offers both dine in and delivery services.

Acustomer said: "Lovely little cafe with relaxing atmosphere. Friendly, welcoming staff served good coffee and yummy cakes. With seating inside and out and reasonable prices it’s well worth a visit."

This is located on the second floor of the Atria shopping centre in town and has a wide variety of options, from coffee to wine.

It has been ranked five out of five by Tripadvisor.

A visitor said: "Forget Starbucks downstairs, settle in at this little gem on the 2nd floor. Absolutely delicious coffee and very friendly staff. Unique selection of baked sweets, including gluten free goodies."
