New plans have revealed how a “much-loved” Rickmansworth playground could look as it is set to be refurbished.

Residents have been invited to have their say on plans for the Ebury Play Area at Rickmansworth Aquadrome as part of a public consultation closing tomorrow (May 17).

The play area's "much-loved" purple tower, installed in 2016, has been removed by Three Rivers District Council ahead of the works due to being at the end of its life and deemed out of keeping with the nature reserve.

Option A would relocate the existing swings, add a new sandpit with wooden towers, a boardwalk, as well as a hide for bird watching and balancing beams.

Once closed, the feedback from the consultation will be evaluated and used to guide the tender process for the new play park's installation.
