Watford will be represented tonight on popular TV show The Piano - which sees amateur musicians perform for judges.
Alexander Williams - who performs under the stage name Tiger Jazz - will be featured on Sunday's episode of the Claudia Winkleman-fronted Channel 4 programme.
Each episode's best act receives the opportunity to perform at a special concert at the Royal Albert Hall.
Alexander Williams (Image: Channel 4) Alexander told the Watford Observer: "I've been a huge fan of the show since series one as it's a blend of great music and heart-warming personal stories.
"The experience was incredible, I had a lovely day from start to finish and gave it my all. Fundamentally I'm a singer and picked up the piano during lockdown as a skill to accompany that."
The 41-year-old is hoping the national television spotlight will allow him to put his talents "in the shop window" ahead of a busy summer.
(Image: Channel 4) Alexander - who is an Old Fullerian and former Watford Grammar School pupil - hosts the What's On Podcast and various open mic nights in the town.
This summer, he will perform at both the Watford and Islington Fringe festivals.
The Piano airs on May 11 at 9pm on Channel 4.
