Watford-born Love Island contestant Dejon Noel-Williams has said criticism in a book by his alleged former partner is "the furthest thing from the truth".
Niah Sienna recently published Surviving Dejon, a 73-page book which is heavily critical of his conduct during their relationship, which reportedly took place while both were teenagers.
Hitting back at the claims on Instagram, Noel-Williams wrote: "I’ve stayed quiet, but that doesn’t mean it hasn’t affected me.
"I hold myself accountable for my communication and everyday I’m growing as a person, so thank you for those who see the good in me. I’m not just a character on an entertainment reality tv show I’m also a human being with real emotions, some of the stuff I’ve seen said about me has been hard to deal with and they are the furthest thing from the truth.
"Running, training, pushing myself when everything in my head feels heavy. It clears my mind, helps me breathe, reminds me of who I am outside of the noise.

"If you’re struggling mentally, I get it. I really do. You don’t have to have it all figured out just find that one thing that brings you back to yourself and take it one step at a time."
Today (August 19), he also said he is in the process of "challenging" the book, according to Capital FM.
Dejon had a spell in the Watford FC academy before going on to forge a career at non-league level, currently playing for Bedford Town while working as a personal trainer.
His father Gifton scored 33 goals for the Hornets in 169 appearances and was the club's top scorer during the 1998-99 promotion-winning season.
Dejon's father was limited to just three appearances in what was then the Premiership for Watford due to injury, but went on to play for Stoke, Burnley and Millwall, while also having a stint in Spain, turning out for Real Murcia and Elche.
