A high street Indian takeaway has temporarily closed, with a planned reopening date confirmed.
Village Tandoori in Abbots Langley shut yesterday (March 30) , citing "essential maintenance work" as the reason.
It is set to reopen on Sunday, April 12, according to a post shared on social media.
The business has not confirmed the type of maintenance work that is taking place and apologised to "valued customers" for "any inconvenience this may cause".
Village Tandoori has a 4.6 score from 38 Tripadvisor reviews, while the business also boasts a 4.7 score from 66 reviews on Google.
One reviewer wrote: "Excellent food, great price, portion sizes large, delivery on time, ordering quick and easy through app."

They added that the meal was "superb" and "highly recommended" the business.
Its Tripadvisor score is the seventh highest of any eatery in Abbots Langley.
Village Tandoori's website says: "We are pleased to be one of the best Indian takeaways in Hertfordshire with incredible food, polite and friendly staff, and great value for money."
It has served the village since 1994.
