A sponsored walk is set to raise more than £300,000 for life-saving cancer research.
Tesco colleagues in Watford will take part in a 13-mile fundraiser on July 1 as part of a wider company initiative in support of Cancer Research UK.
The event will involve 800 colleagues from stores across Central England and South Wales, with participants walking one of 10 routes to help raise money for the charity.

Nicola McGuinness, Tesco’s store director for South Wales, said: "The scale of support for this year’s walk has been fantastic. Our Community Champions and store teams have put a huge amount of work into organising fundraising activity, bringing colleagues together and helping create real momentum across the region.
"It is a strong reflection of the dedication our teams show to supporting good causes in the communities they serve."
Teams will also lead a programme of in-store and local fundraising activity to boost awareness and encourage donations.
Claire De Silva, head of community at Tesco, said: "At Tesco, we are committed to supporting the communities we serve and the charity partners we work alongside. This fundraising walk is a great example of how colleagues can make a meaningful contribution through collective action, and we are proud to support everyone taking part across Hertfordshire."
Funds raised will help Cancer Research UK continue to advance research that is improving the understanding, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. Anyone able to support the campaign or make a donation can visit their local Tesco store.
