Watford Palace Theatre is set to host a new 'after-work experience' this month.

The new monthly series, called groundworks, is designed as a “third space” between home and work, inviting guests to unwind and connect through music, conversation, art, and community.

Curated by Watford-based DJ veryunlimited, the event promises a seamless mix of R&B to house music, aiming to create a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. The event is set to be held in the 1908 Cabaret Bar, which is lift-accessible.

A spokesperson from the theatre said: “Whether you’re staying for 20 minutes or settling in for the night, the space is yours — relaxed, welcoming and pressure-free. Set against the laid-back energy of 1908 Cabaret, this isn’t a club night; it’s a place to be."

groundworks will take place on August 20, at 7pm. Tickets are Pay What You Can. Those interested in attending can book in advance through Watford Palace Theatre's website.

For any access needs, attendees can contact Watford Palace Theatre on 01923 225 671 or sales@watfordpalacetheatre.co.uk.
