Zendaya has said she “has so much to look forward to” as she celebrates turning 30.
The American actress marked the milestone on September 1, also sharing a throwback photo of herself on Instagram to mark the occasion.
The image showed her as a child sitting on the floor posing with her legs crossed while smiling for the camera.
She captioned the post: “I can’t thank ya’ll enough for making the last year of my twenties so beautiful, I have so much to be grateful for and so much to look forward to, with love as always… here’s to 30!!!!!”

Commenting on the post, singer and actress Chloe Bailey wrote: “Happy Birthday queen!! Love you sooo much!!!”
Actress Mia Goth said: “You are wonderful and deserve all the amazing things in life, happy birthday!”
Musician and actress Willow Smith also commented, writing: “Goddess.”
A few hours before Zendaya shared her post, the actress’s mother Claire Stoermer also posted a photo of her daughter as a youngster on Instagram.
It showed a young Zendaya wearing an aqua-blue floral dress, posing in front of a wooden playhouse.
Stoermer wrote: “Happy 30th birthday to the love and light of my life!! Even tho you’re not on socials anymore, and you won’t see this!! We just got off facetime!!”
Zendaya was born on September 1 1996, to Stoermer and Kazembe Ajamu Coleman.
Her parents, who were both teachers, divorced in 2016 after eight years of marriage.
Zendaya is their only child together, but she has five older half-siblings on her father’s side.
In June, Zendaya’s husband Tom Holland also turned 30.
That same month, Holland also confirmed they had got married following months of speculation.
The Spider Man co-stars have been together for nearly a decade, with the actress seen wearing what appeared to be a gold wedding band earlier this year.
Zendaya’s stylist Law Roach then also claimed the couple’s wedding had already happened when interviewed on a red carpet in March.
The couple have kept their romance largely private but confirmed their relationship in November 2021 and got engaged last year.
But in June, Holland confirmed they had in fact tied the knot.
Speaking to Esquire, the actor was asked about how his grandmother had mistakenly believed she had been snubbed from the invite list.
When asked if he had to clarify the photos were fake to any other family members, he said: “No, because they were all there.”
He said: “That’s all you’ll get on that.”

Speaking about his wife, Holland also shared a rare insight into their relationship.
“Our business can present very stressful situations and it’s really nice to have a bedrock of a relationship that will stand the test of time,” he said.
“We can support each other in ways that only we can, because only we understand really what it’s like to live this life, and I think that is such a luxury, because I just don’t understand how I would be able to have anything like that with anyone else.
“So, for me, I found my person. She’s my best friend, and I’m the happiest I ever have been when I’m with her, but I also have never felt so supported and safe, ever. Period.”
