A charity fundraising organisation is hunting for 1920s wedding dresses in preparation for an event in Sarratt.
Movers and Shakers, which raises funds for The Cure Parkinson’s Trust is looking for the garments for their "More Than Ordinary Beautiful" event on Friday 22 March 2013 in Sarratt Village Hall.
Event organiser Rosemary Mason will display more than 25 local wedding dresses through the decades.
The bridal-themed lunch will feature a speech by Edwina Ehrman, the curator of the V & A's upcoming exhibition of bridal fashion.
Ms Ehrman will reveal the stories behind the dresses in the V & A's superb collection.
