An engraved Masonic chain celebrating the coronation of King Edward VII is among items stolen in a Northwood burglary.
The "distinctive and valuable" chain was stored in a safe which was stolen from a flat in Dukes Lodge along with a large flat screen TV.
It was engraved with the words: "ill. bro. lt-col. Stohwasser as a souvenir of the coronation year of ill. bro. His Majesty King Edward VII".
The burglary took place on Wednesday January 16 between 2.30pm and 7pm. Police believe at least two suspects were involved and escaped in a vehicle.
Anyone with information should contact DC Gordon King via the non-emergency number 101, quoting crime reference number C3/13/47. Alternatively call Crimestoppers anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
