Firefighters are battling a massive blaze that has broken out in central Watford this evening.
Eight fire engines and 50 firefighters are at the scene of the blaze in a building near Watford Junction station in Clarendon Road.
It looks as if the fire has broken out on the top floor of the mixed offices building at number 64. An electrical fault is suspected of being the cause.
Nearby Watford Junction has been evacuated and London Overground services have been suspended between Watford junction and Watford High Street.
A woman who works in the building and lives nearby said: "It's quite scary. I got a phone call from a colleague and she said 'Could you look out and see if the building is on fire', so I looked out and said 'Oh my goodness, it is'."
The blaze could be seen from miles away.
