People living with cancer in Abbots Langley and Kings Langley are able to benefit from a selection of complementary therapy courses at a local hospice.

The Hospice of St Francis, in Berkhamsted, is offering free therapy courses to help manage patients’ symptoms and the sessions are available to anyone with a life-limiting condition.

Aromatherapy, body massage, Indian head massage, shiatsu massage and reflexology will all be available on Tuesday and Wednesdays. However, the service is expanding and soon will be offering treatment on Mondays and Thursdays too.

Sandy Winyard, complementary therapy co-ordinator at The Hospice of St Francis, said: "We’re trying to spread the word about our new service so if you, or anyone you know, is suffering from a serious illness or caring for such a person and may benefit from a range of treatments, do get in touch to see how we can help."
