Watford Fire Cadets raised more than £900 for Relate’s Hardship Fund as part of the Watford and Three Rivers Trust Dragon's Apprentice Challenge.
On Saturday, November 30 the cadets, along with White Watch, took part in a six hour charity car wash.
Relate's Hardship Fund ensures that anyone can have relationship counselling regardless of their ability to pay.
Tracy Turner, Cadet Instructor, said: "We would like to thank all those who took part and all the car owners who supported the event.
"We are now looking forward to our next event - a raffle to win the chance for a child to be a firefighter for a day."
