A family has been left "shocked" after their Christmas tree was stolen in Bushey on Tuesday.
Emma Travers, who lives in Herkomer Road, put her Christmas tree up on Sunday, helped by her two children who are two and three-years-old.
When they woke on Tuesday they discovered the five foot tree that was covered with decorations had been stolen.
The 36-year-old said: "We put the tree outside so everyone could get enjoyment from it.
"We are all shocked it has been taken.
"I would like the person who took it to come and explain to my children why they have taken it and see the look on their faces.
"It has left a big hole in our garden."
